Biographical Information

I am an Edgerton High School graduate and followed this with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ag Business from UW-RiverFalls. I spent my entire career in Ag Banking with the majority of it as a Vice President with the M&I Bank in Janesville.
My wife, Betch, and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in 2025. We have three children who graduated from Edgerton and six of our eight grandchildren have attended or are attending Edgerton schools now...sports, music, theater, they have done it all and we are very proud. Edgerton has been a great place to raise a family.

Community Service

In 2026 I will celebrate 50 years as a member of Rotary International with the majority of it with the Edgerton Rotary Club. Rotary does so many nice things for our community.

I am a member of the Wartmann Endowment for the Edgerton Performing Arts Board where we work hard to bring quality musical entertainment to the Edgerton Community.

Goals

I am a strong believer in Public Education and I applaud the staff who open up opportunities for our students to learn. I also support the opportunities that sports and the arts bring to our students...education is so much more than memorizing facts and I appreciate the critical thinking skills that give students training to become well rounded and contributing citizens in our country.
