Community Elementary School -

On Wednesday April 10th, 4th grade students from the Edgerton School District were invited to attend the bi-annual Kids in the Kitchen program run by your district's food service provider Taher, Inc. Food service director Pete Hamilton and district chef Tyson Repp conducted a pizza making class for 12 eager students. They were treated with a tour of the high school kitchen and the procedure on how to make a pizza from scratch. All 12 students made their own personal pan pizzas and were able to take them home to share with their families. A fun, entertaining and educational afternoon was had by all. The next class will be in the fall of next school year. Thank you!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Community Elementary School April 15-19th! Students will visit with their classroom and can purchase books then or it will be open to families after school. Monday, April 15th: 3:00-3:30 pm Tuesday, April 16th: 3:00-3:30 pm Wed., April 17th: 4:00-6:00 pm during Literacy Night Thurs., April 18th: 3:00-3:30 pm

RCC Bounce House Day - Wed May 15, 2024 Rascal Community Club is hosting an RCC Bounce House Day. We are in need of volunteers to help run this fun event that will benefit all students at Community Elementary School. Volunteers will help in supervising the various inflatable bounce houses and obstacle course. All volunteers need to have a School District of Edgerton Volunteer Disclosure Form. The book fair is coming to Community Elementary School and we need volunteers to check out the students on April 15, 16 & 17th in the morning and afternoon. Dear Edgerton Community Members: Yesterday voters approved the School District's Operational Referendum Question on the Ballot by over 59%! We appreciate the time the community took to learn about our District's needs. The passing of this referendum will allow us to maintain programs, better compensate our staff and solve building maintenance and IT needs. It's spring cleaning time! If you are cleaning out your child's books and have any extras please consider donating them to school. We will have a "free book fair" in May for kids to pick books for summer reading. Please bring your gently used books to the office anytime before the end of May. Thank you!
