Calling all children who are between 3 and 5 years old! Please attend a Little Rascal Development screening. The Edgerton School District is offering FREE developmental screenings for all children ages 3 through 5.
Developmental screenings are one component of ESD’s Child Find efforts. Screenings are available, free of charge, to children ages 3 through 5, residing in the Edgerton School District. Screenings help to identify children in need of further evaluation to determine their eligibility for special education services or supports.

Hoops for a Cure
EHS Student Council is sponsoring Hoops for a Cure on Tuesday, February 10, during the girls' basketball game. Shirts are being sold for $15, with $5 from each shirt going back to the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
Other fundraisers will be going on before the game, as well as at the concession stand. Our goal is to raise $1,000. Names will also be read in memory or in honor of someone. Our girls are having a spectacular season, so please consider supporting both them and the UW Carbone Cancer Center. Also, students who purchase a shirt and attend the game will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Culver's Gift Card. Eight students will be selected.
Please buy a shirt and mark your calendars for February 10. To order a T-Shirt, please sign up on the form. T-shirt orders and money are due to Mrs. Buhrow by the end of the day on Tuesday, January 20.

Qualifications include being able to work independently with limited supervision, ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time, be able to follow recipes and lead by example.

Due to icy conditions on roads as a result of rain last night freezing as temperatures have dropped this morning, the Edgerton School District will delay the start of school today by two hours to allow for additional road treatment to apply. As a result, there will be no 4K classes this morning or this afternoon. All bus pick-up times will be delayed by two hours.

Yahara Valley Elementary is looking for a part time Reading Corps Tutor (5 hours/day) to provide high-impact tutoring services that support students in becoming stronger readers. Reading Tutors spend their days meeting with pairs of students in grades K-3 to help them build skills and confidence. With the support of an on-site coach and Ampact Coaching Specialist, you'll be trained to deliver activities proven to help students improve as readers.
This is an AmeriCorps member position with Reading Corps. By giving your time as a tutor, you can help more students become successful learners!
